Our next featured member has been seen, at one point or another, by nearly everyone on Gentlemint. He catches spam quicker than an algorithm, and he's been around almost as long as the site has been live. He has posted some of the most prolific tacks, never ceasing to amaze or inspire us.

It's safe to say Gentlemint wouldn't be the same if it weren't for Zamoose.

From Zamoose's mouth:

I'm a high-performance computing (HPC) administrator for the research arm of the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. I live just outside Philly with my wonderful wife and four children. I'm a life-long Vikings and Twins fan, but please don't hold that against me. (1987 and 1991's Twins seasons were two of the best years of my young sports-rooting life. I'm still waiting for a Vikings equivalent.)

It would be an overstatement to say that I "collect" single malt scotches -- I enjoy drinking them too much to allow them to attract dust. I've been coaching my son's lacrosse team for the past three years, hopefully with an eye towards raising young sportsmen.

As far as favorite tacks, amongst my own, I'd have to put Ron Swanson's Lunchable near the top.

As for others' tacks, it's hard to beat three killer grilled cheese recipes, and these two compendiums of the personal libraries of famous men are incredibly awe-inspiring and make me want to own one some day(1, 2).

Also, you can never go wrong with reading Axe Cop, a wonderful web comic written by an 8-year-old and illustrated by his 32-year-old brother. I've been helping out with some of the social media stuff for them and it's been a blast, but they could always use more Likes on Facebook and followers on Twitter.

Parting shots

I've been involved with the WordPress open source project since its early goings and am one of the organizers of the Philly WordPress Meetup group. We meet monthly and if you're doing ANYTHING on-line and in the Philly area, we'd love to have you come out and spend some time with our community.
